Im not sure why he voted against it.. the only difference between this version and the old version was that it covered LGBT relationships and undocumented immigrants.. since the latter would have benefited people in his immediate family one must conclude that its the fact that it would protect gays and lesbians that did it... The GOP's golden boy is as bigoted and uncaring as the rest of his ilk.

Dorner cornered in burning Cabin.. they hope..

So Dorner allegedly tied up a couple, stole their car, they got loose, called the cops, cops saw him driving, tried to pull him over, he ran into the woods, ran into a cabin, had a shoot out with the deputies that were following him, killed one and injured the other and is now hiding in the cabin... that is on fire... p.s. any point people might think Dorner has, that he rambled about on Facebook, is completely erased, if it ever existed at all, by the fact that he shoots innocent people over grievances he has with others. UPDATE: Dorner is dead: CBS News’s John Miller reports that they’ve been told by law enforcement sources that a body has been removed from the cabin and law enforcement believes it to be the body of Dorner. The cabin’s owners earlier told police that the cabin was empty today. UPDATE: or maybe not. No body removed. They assume he is in there.

So get this... Romney will

• Cut taxes by 20% across the board
• build 12 new Battleships and 3 New Subs a year 
• keep benefits for Medicare and Social Security Bennies the same (for about 10 years then ???)
• Invest in Job training for "the jobs of Today" (Whatever that means)
• Keep the top 11 Tax deductions at their current rate
• and/or offer a "Bucket" full of deductions
• Defund and refund Planned Parenthood (kidding - he's going to defund)
• Keep everything in Obamacare (except the name apparently) which cuts the deficit
• Repeal Obamacare (which would add to the deficit)
• Undo the sequester and restore the spending cuts... that havent happened yet..because.. eh
• restore the 716 Billion in Fraud and Overpayments in Medicare (and re-open the Part D hole)
• Give student loan control back to banks so they can skim billions at no risk
• while offering more student loan "options"

And to pay for it?... well... they don't know yet... He'll cut PBS... that's for sure... which equals six hours of Pentagon spending Before the additions he wants to make.   And caps it off with a series of Dick moves ... like this... and this... and this old favorite...   ahhhh

Lies win the day, lose the week

The general consensus about the debate, if we are to believe the veins in Chris Matthew's forehead or Ed Schultz' neck, is that Mitt Romney won and.. If you missed the debate itself... President Obama blew a snot on his jacket and never wiped it off because he was too busy shuffling through his papers like Mitch Taylor in Real Genius. At least that was the immediate reaction.... From 9 people...many of us thought that while the president didn't lambast Romney like we hoped, he had obviously decided on a calmer, patient approach. In the days that followed I have heard caller after caller on Steph's show, Bill Press, Ed Schultz etc... State that they didn't have a problem with the president's performance only to be talked out of that belief by a host defending their own gut reaction. On Sirius, I heard a host actually berate a caller, who said that truth was more important to him than volume and slickness, as having a "minority opinion" as if that was something to be ashamed of. Last time I checked, we in the left prized diversity of opinion. Cut to: a week later and while the polls tightened around the 2 days after the debate, better than expected jobs numbers, Mitt's ridiculous attack on Big Bird as a way to patch the titanic sized whole in the budget that he proposes (along with his continued assertion that he will "ask if we should borrow money from China to pay for".. Things like public Televison - when China holds only 8% of our debt - the question should be - is it worth borrowing from the Social Security trust fund to pay for it?... But I digress) the polls are moving back towards Obama and Mitt's reversals are only comforting to his anti-Obama base and the Neo-cons like John Bolton and his ilk who not only approve of Lying as a tactic.. Seem to insist on it. Apparently they don't think calling for all out war with Iran would be popular.. So Romney can just strut around it GWB style. But make no mistake about it, War with Iran is the plan. The main thought I want to convey to my media friends is this, be careful how you use the word "won" in terms of the debate. If you want to say he "dominated" the debate or that he "stole the spotlight" or even "upstaged the president" you have a case to make as far as presentation in a very superficial sense... But if you say he won you are also saying two other things... 1) you believe people are fundamentally stupid 2)Telling the truth is optional to YOU For the record.. 1) I don't believe that And 2) it isn't Peace and be wild Hal

I love saying "I told ya so".. so thanks President Obama for signing a federal ban on My home state's current drug of choice.. Bath Salts! ..and of course... first a Black President and NOW THIS! What is a chubby white male to do? ... um he'll probably assume that the world is out to get him... which it clearly is... and start ranting about Hollywood! Forget Sh!t creek, The Romney campaign is paddling in circles in a lake of excrement this week... to hilarious effect... but at least he has a great explanation... finally!

• besides..nobody cares about old tax returns!

And in other news the REPUBLICANS FILIBUSTERED THE DISCLOSE ACT!... That's right.. if you are a 95 Year Old Wisconsin Grandma who has voted in the same place for decades.... You MUST show photo ID to vote..once! but if you're a member friend of the Chinese mob.. you can't donate Millions without proving you are a citizen! but aint that America! And the Obama Campaign released this ad this week... Sing Baby Sing   Which is amazing... and moron GOP whine stewards said was the Administration mocking Romney for "singing a Patriotic Song"... yeah wow... p.s. contrasting him singing America The Beautiful with what he would do to America if he was in charge.. is Genius and in the name of Fun... Let's Get Humpin'!
